Terms and Conditions

1. Scope of Work

  • Services: B Smart Interiors agrees to provide interior design, consultation, and/or installation services as specified in the approved "Project Proposal" or "Quotation."

  • Changes: Any requests for changes to the original design or scope after work has commenced must be submitted in writing and may result in additional charges and timeline extensions.

2. Payment Terms

  • Booking Advance: A non-refundable deposit of 10% is required to initiate the design process.

  • Payment Schedule: Payments shall be made in stages 50% upon material procurement, 30% during installation, and 10% upon completion.

  • Delayed Payments: B Smart Interiors reserves the right to pause work if payments are not made according to the agreed schedule.

3. Material and Quality Assurance

  • Specifications: Materials (such as PVC, UPVC) will be used as per the approved quotation.

  • Warranty: Specific products may carry manufacturer warranties (20-year warranty against termites or water damage). B Smart Interiors is responsible for the quality of installation, while material defects fall under the manufacturer’s purview.

  • Natural Variations: Clients acknowledge that textures, colors, and finishes in catalogs may vary slightly from the actual physical product due to lighting or manufacturing batches.

4. Client Responsibilities

  • Site Access: The client must ensure the site is ready and accessible for measurements and installation during agreed-upon working hours.

  • Approvals: The client is responsible for timely approval of designs, material selections, and drawings to avoid project delays.

  • Permissions: Any necessary building or society permissions required for the work are the sole responsibility of the client.

5. Timeline and Completion

  • Estimated Duration: While we strive to meet all deadlines, timelines are estimates. Delays caused by third-party vendors, material unavailability, or site conditions beyond our control are not the responsibility of the company.

  • Handover: A "Completion Certificate" or "Handover Note" will be signed by both parties upon final inspection.

6. Cancellations and Refunds

  • Order Cancellation: Since materials are often custom-sized and cut to order, once procurement or production has started, the advance payment cannot be refunded.

  • Termination: Either party may terminate the agreement with written notice, subject to payment for all work completed up to the termination date.

7. Liability and Dispute Resolution

  • Liability: The company is not liable for any pre-existing structural defects at the client’s site.

  • Jurisdiction: Any disputes arising from this agreement shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts in [Erode].
